The Back Story:

Top and Second: A very personal favorite here, Barry Cone from Connecticut.  He really made an impression in the very tough to crack Modified filed back in the day.  Cone recorded 10 big block wins, was always extremely fast and exciting to watch.  He beat some of the all time best at their prime, most which are now in the LV hall of Fame.

Third and Fourth: Not sure if the year is correct, but close enough.  What I really enjoy about these pictures is, you have Barry Cone and crew celebrating the win, and then as the car sits on the trailer, with the engine torn apart, you can tell that He was protested, and by the smiles on their faces, was awarded the victory.  Now that you’ve accomplished that Barry, cover the engine up, and for god sakes, put some fenders on that trailer, I don’t want shit getting all over the #2 on the way to the track!

Fifth: I believe this was the last car for Barry.
