The Back Story:

Top Photo:

A very young Chris Kokosa works the outside of fellow DIRT legal runner Gary Virgilio in his pig powered #141.  Chris ran the family owned and sponsored Stan and Fran’s Texaco with limited success in the DIRT legal division, but flourished in his familiar Troyer chassis, Mike Petrucci powered #00’s in the mid 90’s and into the, get this, “00’s.  HA!, see what I did there!  Chris chalked up a very impressive 23 sportsman victories, to date, but currently is on hiatus from competing on the high banks to focus his energy on his newest business endeavor, Kokosa Fuels.

Second Photo:

No, that's not a very young Chris Kokosa, that's "Evil" Elliot Daly hailing from Pittsfield MA. Chris Kokosa's mom Jackie, kept a Polaroid camera in the team hauler to offer photos to up and coming stars of the racing world who would pose in the Stan and Fran's - Teddy Bear Pools #00 Sportsman to see how they fit. Well, the car was a little big then but now they would have to move the seat back for "Stretch" Daly.
