Dave DeLoye

A true “Backyard Racer” as Family friend and photo contributor Dave Deloye referred to as his pal, Larry Shatney.  Along with a coupe that they built together as a family, this coach was constructed by Larry and his Dad iliff and George Grant.  They mainly ran Lebanon, but did get a chance to run at Cairo speedway in that tracks short existence.  Sadly, Larry was in his mid twenties when He lost his life in a highway accident, leaving behind a wife and baby boy.
