The Back Story:

Top: Ricky Wright had a pretty good career at Lebanon Valley aboard his always pristine Wright Bros. #14’s.  Rick started off in the 320 division and quickly moved up to the Mod ranks, where he nearly pulled off one of the biggest upsets ever at LV when he was only 1 lap away from holding off Tommy Corellis for the modified win in his rookie year.  Rick went on to score a few modified victories and was also considered a smooth and consisten pilot as well.

Rick wasn’t the only racer in his family as he is married to former mini and 320 racer Kathy Tremont.

Second: Brian Gleason sends in a picture of his former graduating class member and part time crew member of the Wright Bros. #14 (He says He helped out minimally, but we all know that helps too) from 1984.  Brian hasn’t seen Ricky in quite some time, but wanted to share a few photos of his days of helping the #14 team out at Lebanon Valley.

Third: This is the above mentioned car that Ricky nearly scored the upset win over T.C. that one night in his rookie year.
